We are a fusion of Social Organization and a Design studio; where we
ensure that the roots of all our products lay in traditional Indian
Arts.
We closely work with the artisans, in helping them team their traditional
techniques with our contemporary designs, and develop quality products
that appeal to contemporary tastes. As much as we believe in retaining
the original flavor of the art form, we also believe that our little
modifications make a difference. We keep a balance of both - the raw
untouched handicrafts as well as our versions using the same art form.
We very strongly believe that the handicraft industry deserves our
attention, appreciation and contribution before it goes extinct. And with DIY crafts booming all over - we also encourage all those artists, sitting in their homes, with meagre opportunities, to showcase their talent, their products with some backing of our infrastructure. So 'Silai-Bunai' from home can find a new meaning in today's world!!
